The 6 strut Rise offers freeride kiteboarders the ultimate versatility in wind range and boost. Our most popular kite ever, the 2011 Rise features only modest updates for the new season along with a revised look in keeping with the 2011 Razor design. New for 2011, the 15m will feature a 4 strut light wind design.
The Rise ships standard with our 2011 Freeride SLE bar and lines or optionally with our limited throw,”mini 5th” 2011 Freestyle SLE bar and lines, both designed to work with our 2011 kites’ Roll Over Bridle System (2008-10 bar systems require a refit upgrade to offer proper depower with 2011 kites).
The 4 strut Razor C shape gives freestyle and wave riders faster turning and relaunch combined with a constant grunty pull and excellent stability. The Razor ships standard with our limited throw,”mini 5th” 2011 Freestyle SLE bar and lines or optionally with our 2011 Freeride SLE bar and lines, both designed to work with our 2011 kites’ Roll Over Bridle System (2008-10 bar systems require a refit upgrade to offer proper depower with 2011 kites).
Board sizes for the Mako: 130×35, 140×40, 150×40, 165×45. While the same dimensions as the 2010 Makos the 2011 Mako line up is notably different this year. All 2011 Makos feature a wood core construction for increased durability, laminate strength and a smoother, more poppy ride. Additionally, on the success of the 2010 Mako King’s mutant optional stance we have built the 2011 Mako 140 & 150 to offer mutant and regular TT assembly.
All 2011 Makos ship standard with our Bliss pads and straps with the exception of the 2011 Mako 165 (King) which will ship with a stick down deck pad and symmetrical strap set-up.
The all new 2011 Surf Series is a three fin thruster set-up made with seamless epoxy / full wood deck construction. The 2011 Surf Series shape was designed with feedback from our 2009/10 Custom Surf Series production, the rocker/outline combination delivers fast / hard carving performance in all types of wind and water conditions. The 2011 Surf Series ships standard with a full sized EVA foam pad eliminating slippery sections inherent with other directional boards, no wax required!
The 2011 JT Pro replaces the Zen in the line up and is an entirely new production board. Designed to be more responsive, snappy and light the JT Pro is our best freestyle board yet. Built in 2 sizes, the smaller size favours riders who ride in conventional strapped bindings while the larger board is perfectly suited to boot style bindings. Ships standard with Bliss pads and straps, built with wood core construction, stainless inserts, and ABS rails.

In the design process for 2 years, the Session Harness is a mix of ideas and concepts from our experience in kiteboarding, skydiving, and hang gliding. If you have been unfortunate enough to have a harness fail while kiting you will understand our mission to create the toughest, safest harness ever conceived.
Built with the same rugged construction and attention to detail as all Ocean Rodeo products, the Session Harness was designed to be super strong while at the same time incorporating obvious safety requirements currently ignored by our competitors. One day all harnesses will be built this way!
Session 2: The original Session harness was introduced to the kiteboading world over 4 years ago. With thousand in use around the world, the Session has gained legendary status for its rugged durability, incredible comfort and innovative safety features. The industry first “Clip on – Clip” off leg straps allowed riders to wear the Session as waist or seat harness, creating a new segment in harness market: the Hybrid.
The Session 2 is the result of rider feed back from our global community of riders: The Crew. Hundred’s of committed OR riders communicate through the OR forum, directly with our R&D team. This information is coming from all levels or rider, for all parts of the globe. Firmly grounded on the success of the original Session, we sure you’ll you enjoy upgrades to classic.
